We’re back from Hawaii and I must say, that the entire trip was so amazing and refreshing. We were a bit anxious terrified of how Ellie would be on the plane ride, but she did wonderfully. When we landed in Hawaii, a man in the seat behind us exclaimed, “Wow, not one little peep out of her the entire trip!” He must have been as relieved and grateful as we were. I want to thank my dear friends Sujin and Sunghyun for being such great hosts while we were in town. Ellie, Jeff and I had a great time with you guys and dreaded coming home! Seriously, one day into the trip and Jeff was trying to figure out a way for us to move there. Love you guys and miss you already!
Oh, and you might be wondering why your sheets are in the wash. Well, we were 5 seconds to stepping out of the house to head to the airport when Ellie had a bit of an explosive poo on your guest bed. Seriously, our bags were packed and upstairs and then it happened. I screamed to Jeff for help. He changed Ellie (thankfully, I had extra clothes packed for her in the diaper bag) while I whipped the sheets off your bed and threw them in the washer before we ran out the door to catch out flight. I’m hoping the stain came out. If not, try rewashing it with Oxyclean and your regular laundry detergent on the pre-soak cycle. If that doesn’t work, let me know and I will make Ellie buy you new sheets out of her college fund. 😛
I’ll be sharing more from our trip in subsequent posts. Right now we’re trying to get Ellie back on mainland time and need our sleep.
Happy 8 months Elle Bells!
