Ever since her Aunt married at City Hall in Pasadena, Beth knew that that was where she wanted to get married when the time was right. And from the moment she met Brent, she knew he would be the man she would be marring at Pasadena’s City Hall. It was her fairytale and he was her perfect match. They have the same hazel green eyes, gorgeous smiles, and warm hearts. And as fate would have it, they’d have the exact same initials once they were husband and wife. Perfection.
I started off at The Langham in Pasadena for Beth’s getting ready pictures. You really can’t go wrong with sparkly pink peep toe sling backs.
And I love how classic Beth and Brent’s rings are.
Beth looking absolutely stunning as a bride.
The girls and I wandered The Langhan Hotel for some portraits. The cream colored walls and ornate decor of the hotel made for the perfect backdrop.
I was loving the light in the halls and made good use of it taking bridal portraits as well as some fun pictures of all the girls together.
I couldn’t resist taking a few more of Beth.
Then we headed out the the picturesque lawn for one final shot of the girls.
And the guys, they clean up rather well too.
Their ceremony was held under one of the awnings looking into the courtyard. It was so beautiful and unique. And it was my first time seeing a bagpiper play at a wedding. Totally rad!
I love this one that Jeret captured during the ceremony.
Their ringbearer carried a baseball in a mitt in lieu of a traditional ring pillow since Brent coaches and loves everything baseball. So sweet. And I love the shot on the right that Jeret captured of Beth and Brent right after their kiss.
The new Mr. and Mrs. with tears in their eyes as they make their way back up the aisle through their most cherished family and friends.
Then the fun began! We took a bunch of portraits around City Hall while the guests mingled in the main courtyard for cocktail hour.
Then we headed to a tiny little park across the street and scored some amazing, amazing light! Of course, it helps to have such an amazingly good looking couple to shoot.
I’m so glad that Beth and Brent were willing to do a bit of walking that day so that we could get classic shots at City Hall as well as these gorgeous outdoor ones. The trees framing them, the light, the color is all just so romantic.
This next one was taken by Jeret Slack. Love. Love. Love having him shoot with me! He’s great at capturing the right moments from a different perspective.
Did I not tell you we had some insane light to play with?
And then it was time to head back for their Grand Entrance, but I happily snapped some candid shots from behind as we made our way back.
Some of the details as captured by Jeret and myself. Love the pop of fuschia and soft pinks!
And check out their yummy candy buffet set up! Candied apples, rice crispies, gourmet candies – all of it color coodinating!
And as the sun set, the lights of City Hall glowed in the night and the party continued well into the night.
Congratulations, you guys! I am so happy for you both! Hope you guys enjoy these teasers!
