I met Trystan and his Mommy when he was just a little baby. His Mom has since become one of my dearest friends and we love that our children are growing up together. They’re at an age where they can have conversations with each other and it’s so cute to overhear. Connie took Trystan on his third ski trip to Mammoth so on the drive over to these fields he told Ellie he went to Mammoth and went skiing. 🙂
This little photoshoot was a last minute idea. Fridays are my days with Ellie and I don’t schedule any shoots, meetings or work on my days with her. So last Friday Connie called me and said let’s go take pictures! And who am I to say no to photographing our cute little kiddos? Imagine two Moms, two 2 years olds, a heavy camera bag, a stroller full of props and clothes that won’t roll over grass or rocks and you have one crazy photoshoot. Ellie cried and didn’t want to be in the grass. Trystan used all his might to pull an orange off a tree and went tumbling backwards. We had to avoid dog poop and beetles and stinging nettle plants. Changing utfits meant getting semi naked out in the open on a cold windy day. Did I mention neither of them napped yet?
When Ellie and Trystan asked where we were going, Connie told them we were going on an adventure. And it was quite an adventure. I loved every minute of it!I’ll post more soon. I have to get ready for a shoot, but just wanted to share these with you all.
