This was my first time shooting at the Mission Inn in Riverside and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. The architecture is so beautiful and everywhere we shot was pretty much amazing. The weather was beautiful for our shoot and we totally lucked out because we encountered rain on the drive home and all that night!
I feel like I really got to know these two and we had a lot to share and laugh about. From my Spanish speaking toddler (Bryan is fluent) to our Korean backgrounds and how funny it is that we sometimes rarely know our relative’s names. It’s always “Big Aunt” or “Mr. Kim” and do you know how many Kims there are? Funny stuff!
Such pretty light! Lisa and Bryan’s relationship spanned the states and I know Lisa is so happy to be back to the mild weather of SoCal. No more trudging through snow in flats or wearing ridiculous number of layers trying to beat the cold, but not swelter inside with all the heating.
We found this little hallway while Bryan went off to get their change of outfits and I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures of Lisa in this pretty light. I love how moody these two are. Lida, you’re gorgeous!
On the way to the park I spotted this little lot from the car and asked that we stop by on the way home. It looked questionable from the road with litter and some not so friendly looking guys hanging around, but these two trusted me! I love how gorgeous and natural these are. They’re a great contrast to the formal architecture of the Mission Inn.
