Natalie was a bridesmaid in JoAnna and Jeff’s wedding that I shot last year and had contacting me recently for a couple portrait sessions. She and Jason married in a very intimate (two other people!) ceremony in St. Lucia but wanted some nice photos of the two of them together all done up. So we met up at Union Station to shoot the two in their wedding attire.
I’m a sucker for shoes, what can I say?
We had so much beautiful light to play with! Natalie and Jason were pro’s from the start. So very relaxed and at ease with each other even with my big camera pointed in their direction. Of course, it helps to be ridiculously good looking too.
Jason and Natalie are so at ease with each other. And I love that sparkle that they each get in their eyes when they’re about to crack a joke or tell a story that has been shared many times before. I love the ebb and flow of Union Station. At times it was crowded with people and other times it was nearly empty.
Jason’s from across the pond. He assured me that they don’t smile with teeth. I’d say Jason looks pretty darn hot regardless of whether I get a toothy smile from him or not. I really love this next photo. But just for the record, I did get some cute pics of Jason smiling with teeth. Photographer = +1 point!
Aren’t they a beautiful couple?
How cute are Natalie and Jason? I love when my couples feel at ease in front of my lens enough to be silly and let loose.
I’m kind of loving the old world cinematographic look of this next image. Isn’t it just so classically romantic?
Natalie and Jason, I’m so happy for you both and am so looking forward to shooting your next portrait session! Natalie is completely changing her hair and going for a different look for out next shoot! So fun and exciting!
I’ll be doing a recap of WPPI 2010 in a separate post. But for now I’m still trying to catch up on work and ….sleep!
