I had so much fun photographing the Fergusons! Originally, Cory contacted me regarding a family session while they were in town for a wedding (they’re both wonderful photographers!) and wanted it to be a surprise for his wife Samantha who’s a fan of my work. And then not 5 minutes later, I receive an email from Samantha asking questions regarding a session! Immediately following that email I received another one from Cory telling me that his wife was also emailing me and asked if I could play along and try and keep it a surprise since the session was as a birthday present for Samantha. It was pretty funny and I played along the best I could so that Cory could keep this surprise for as long as possible. All in all, they are a sweet family and beautiful family!
It was a gorgeous afternoon and we had some really amazing light! Here’s the family all together and looking happy!
Elijah is such a sweet little boy who was willing to give kisses and hugs to his little sister Sarah when asked.
The kids loved the train!
How cute is Sarah’s little pedi! Samantha painted them a bright pink! One of these days I’m going to see if I can paint Ellie’s toes too!
At just this moment a train came roaring by and caught Elijah’s attention. He was fascinated and it shows! I love this!
The beautiful little Sarah. She’s got a big personality and reminds me of myself when I was a kid. At least from what my Mom tells me!
Then we headed over to another location where we caught the last bits of golden light. The kids absolutely loved playing in the dirt!
