Two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Seeing these two together, their love is so apparent! Twyla and Kevin married a top a hill at Padua Hills in a wedding that was touching and filled with so many gorgeous details. Twyla’s dress was beyond gorgeous, the colors so vibrant and fun, and the day filled with so much laughter and tears. It was truly touching to have witness and captured their big day.
And of course a big huge thank you to my dear friends, Jeret and Jen for shooting and assisting me that day. I love working with you guys and you both bring so much talent and fun to my weddings. Thanks guys! Love you both! And a big thank you goes out to Jill Shah who coordinated a flawless event and even made sure we were fed and hydrated on such a hot day. You rock! She even made sure we got cake and cookies to take home! So sweet!
The bridal suite had this amazing bed in it! Love the scale of it. I feel like it complimented their details beautifully.
Twyla wore this stunning Jim Hjelm gown that was so beautifully made and had so much detailing and was so unique. It was so Twyla!
Jen got shot this next image of the bouquet and I think it’s just so gorgeous.
Twyla made such a stunning bride that she brought Kevin to tears a few times. It was so sweet to witness the love between these two!
Twyla and Kevin opted for a first look which you all know I love doing. I loved their expressions and how Kevin teared up seeing his bride for the first time that day.
Look how happy and excited Twyla is to make her debut! It’s such a great way to start the day. Just the two of you together getting to spend a few moments together alone before the hustle and bustle of the rest of the day.
The bridesmaids wore deep purple dresses that matched perfectly with their bouquets.
The guys all look handsome too!
Padua Hills is surrounded by these gorgeous trees that just envelop you. The light filtering through the branches and leaves looked so unreal! The star like lanterns added a whimsical feel and they looked so pretty lit up at night! I love, love, love these next two images so much!
One of my favorites of the day. It’s simple, but you can just feel the love and chemistry between Twyla and Kevin and that’s what makes it so special.
How sweet is their little flower girl? I love her demure little smile. And did I not mention how beautiful the light was that day? You can’t even tell it was over 100 degrees that day!
The ring bearer was just as cute! Love his little dimples!
There’s something so beautiful about a kimono. I love them. Seriously, love them!
I know there’s always a debate about whether or not to do a first look and whether it takes away from the ceremony. Personally, I don’t think it does! It’s a totally difference experience and feeling when the music is playing and you’re surrounded by all your family and friends and all eyes are on you. I’ve had lots of couples who have done a first look and still got emotional during the ceremony. And I just really love the idea of having a little time just by yourselves on your wedding day. 🙂
Probably one of my favorite reception images ever. Totally candid moment that’s oh so romantic!
Congratulations you guys! Thank you so much for always being to gracious, thoughtful and sweet!
