Just received my film from the awesome folks over at Richard Photo Lab and am so beyond excited to share these with you! There was so much to love about Sharon and Brian’s wedding. From her flirty wedding day shoes, to the happy pops of yellow in their wedding colors, the charm of the girls’ getting ready room, and the gorgeous sea front view the guests got to admire all day long. I even got to see an old friend (Hi Beryl!) and clients (Hi Elizabeth!) who were guests at their wedding!
My good friends Connie and Jen came out to shoot with me that day and it was a blast as always. Love having these girls with me! Thanks you two! The view just outside of Sharon’s room was so serene. The marine layer hadn’t burned off and created a soft glow all morning long.
The girls going over the day of time line. I really loved the coordinating getting ready dress that Sharon wore. It definitely made for some cute pictures!
One of my favorites things to do for each wedding is the capture the details. The shoes, the flowers, the little things that make your wedding so unique.
Sharon made an absolutely stunning bride. Brian, you are one lucky man!
There’s something so beautiful about light as air lace. Couple that with some dreamy light, a gorgeous bride, and old school film and you have some of my most favorite getting ready images. Love the simple beauty of these next few images. That’s kind of my thing. Simply beautiful images.
Did I mention how much I loved this little hotel? From the large bay windows to the claw footed tub…I loved it all!
We got to ride along with the wedding party to the beach where we continued with more portraits.
I love how light and happy the reception room looked all decked out in white and yellow.
My first roll of black and white film. I believe this was Ilford 400.
I’m usually a girl who is all about color, but shooting some real black and white film is starting to make me a convert.
Congratulations, you two! Hope you guys had a blast in Japan!
