Fall is my favorite season, but it doesn’t seem like we get much of one in Southern California. The temperatures have been hovering in the mid eighties to low nineties lately! I made these frozen pops for Ellie by blending strawberry apple sauce and strawberry yogurt and freezing them in molds I got at the Japanese market. If I try to feed Ellie apple sauce she gags and acts as if she’s going to throw up. Weird, I know, right? She likes fresh apple slices too! Anyways, I was a little worried she wouldn’t like these popscicles, but she loved them! And there’s no guilt on my part when I give them to her. I swear the minute you become a Mommy you turn into a bit of a paranoid, guilt ridden worry wart.
My office manager Therese with Ellie. They heart each other something fierce! It’s so cute whenever Ellie says, “Hi Tuh-Weese!”
I recently got my hands on a limited edition Golden Half camera. It shoots 72 frames on a roll of 36 by splitting each frame into two shots. I just finished shooting my first roll of film and can’t wait to get it developed. And I love how pint sized the camera is. Perfect for my little Ellie!
Hope you’re all staying cool in this heat!
